diff b/w ftp and tftp

Hi Dear Gurus
if any1 can plz let me know whats the tftp server is ?
and whats the diff b/w ftp and tftp server ?

FTP = File Transfer Protocol
TFTP = Trivial File Transfer Protocol

By definition they are networking protocols, but the software implementation has the same name. Basically, TFTP is a subset of FTP.
