generat pkcs10 type CSR's using openssl

How to generate PKCS10 type CSR using openssl?

Can anybody give me steps to do the above.

funny as it may seem, I usually follow this document geared towards iis users.

It covers how to generate a certificate request, so You should be able to pick what You need.
