hp ups a3589a problem

I have an Hp A3589A UPS, My problem is The Batteries totaly Drain. After a month I have Decided to replaced the batteries. So I was Switch the UPS into bypass mode then replced the new batteries,After replacing the batteries I have turning the unit into the normal mode followung the instructions from case 4 of the manual. But my problem is the unit contenuous beeping and the attention led always light on, output led light on, enable led light on, battery led light off, pree charge light off. can you give me an idea in which the problem comming from.
