Download depot n continue with installation. Mostly are gunzipped depots. Use gzip to unzip depot. then use swinstall -s

downlaod this
xchat-1.4.3
do ftp
make bin
put in u /usr/local directory
remove extension
do swinstall -s /usr/local/xchat...
ok

Seems to provide a way of compiling and using c-client.
The package UW-IMAP in internet express seems to include this (you might have to compile the source code included to get a c-client library):
