when I run fsck in single mode, the server doesn't do anything.
I have alphaserver es40.
normally the server works but a several hours later it goes down to halt mode.
I want it to do fsck.
To do this, I booted the server single mode.
when I execute fsck, the server doesn't do anything.
How can I run fsck ?
Thanks

Why do you _want_ to run fsck?

For AdvFS file domains use the following commands to check consistency :
/sbin/advfs/verify
and
/sbin/advfs/fixfdmn
