Operating your Hybrid Cloud with HP

on ‎03-26-2014 09:19 AM

New HP Cloud blogger Frank Sancho, Worldwide Director of Cloud Ecosystem for HP Technology Services offers his insight into hybrid cloud operation in this preview of his blog over on theTechnical Support Services Blog.

In his blog, “Need a Shot of Confidence to Operate your Hybrid Cloud?” he discusses that confidence is elusive for most IT executives trying to adopt a hybrid cloud delivery model.  A lack of standards, exponentially complex ecosystems, and new technologies requiring new skills can understandably drive one’s confidence into the ground. They say knowledge breeds confidence and likely, in the case of cloud adoption, too much knowledge can also have the opposite effect.  Customers want simplicity.  They want reliability and performance. Simply put they want control – and control breeds confidence.

Enterprises are looking for a defined, enterprise-grade support experience as they consume IT resources and run workloads inside and outside their data centers. They want a single source of support and accountability across their hybrid cloud ecosystem.  They want rapid access to hybrid cloud experts, tools and best practices.  And certainly, they want to maximize responsiveness to critical IT issues which can and will happen.
