Flashing Attn LED at L2000 after reboot

I suppose this is the trivial question, but ...

I got the flashing Attn LED at my system after rebooting.

Any references wehere to look for additional information or diagnostics are wellcome.

Re: Flashing Attn LED at L2000 after reboot

There is a new entry in the GSP logs if your attention LED flashes. You can see them by entering the GSP handler:
press Ctrl B on the console
log into the GSP using login and password
GSP> sl
select the error logs by typind e
select no filter

and you will dee the entries in the error logs

...But, the L-Class seams to have an firmware issue. Currently logs the system at boot up all fans as functioning to the error logs. This makes the attention LED flashing at every bootup
Nevertheless is it a good idea to take a look at the error logs every time the attention LED flashs
There is no good troubleshooting with bad data

Re: Flashing Attn LED at L2000 after reboot

From a console session, login and press CRTL.

Enter sl from the command line e.g. GSP> sl

You will be prompted to select the logs you wish to view, select e for the error logs.

Enter q from the command line to end the session.

Enter co to return to the console.

The attention light should now be off.
Minimum effort maximum output!

Re: Flashing Attn LED at L2000 after reboot

This is the summary of above replies:

- when Attention LED is flashing there is a new entry in GSP Error Log

- to view new entries in GSP Error Log (and stop Attention LED flashing) do the following:

1) Press '' at the console to enter GSP
2) Enter the GSP username and password
3) Type 'sl' (show logs)
4) Select Error Log by typing 'e'
5) Select no filtering by typing 'n'
6) Type '' for next log entry, or 'q' to quit Error Log inspection
7) Type 'co' to return to console from GSP

Thanks to Patrick and Anthony for the swift replies which really hit the spot :)
