Re: ILO MP
On older firmware the default is just 127.0.0.1 - you can only change via a serial connection.
Newer firmware has a default of DHCP (name is mp followed by the mac address), so if you have an active dhcp server, try to connect the ilo.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: ILO MP
"SUV cable" is the short cable used with blade servers, with the proprietary high-density connector at one end and VGA + USB + serial connectors at the other end.
With rp3440, there should be a short "M" cable - the name is because it splits the single DB-25 console connector into three DB-9 serial ports (think of the shape of the letter and how it relates to splitting one large connector into three separate points). The part number of the cable for the rp34xx servers is A6144-63001. Using Google, you may even find its pin-out description.
But the DB-25 connector is quite cleverly designed: the wires for the console serial port are in standard locations for a 25-pin serial connector. If you don't have the M cable, try a regular 25-pin serial cable. You will lose the "remote" and "UPS" ports, but the console port should be usable.

Re: ILO MP
Hi,
Connect to the system console Using Serial port and "CTRL+B" will give access to MP Main Menu.
LC comand used to modify the LAN information includes the management processor network name, IP address information, and configuring DHCP and DNS service information.
To configure the management processor LAN IP address:
Step 1. At the MP Main Menu prompt (MP>), enter CM to choose command mode.
Step 2. At the command mode prompt (MP:CM>), enter LC (for LAN configuration).
The screen displays the default values and asks if you want to modify them. It is good practice to write down the information, because you might need it for future troubleshooting.
Step 3. The screen displays the current LC data. When prompted to enter a parameter name, A to modify All, or Q to Quit, enter A to choose all parameters.
Please modify the required parameters.
The following screen shows LC command output:
MP:CM> LC -nc
Current LAN Configuration:
MAC Address : 0x0060b0f54c51
DHCP Status : Enabled
IP Address : 127.1.1.1
MP Host Name : maestro
Subnet Mask : 255.255.248.0
Gateway Address : 127.1.1.1
Link State : Auto Negotiate
Web Console Port Number : 2023
SSH Access Port Number : 22
IPMI/LAN Port Number : 626
LAN status: UP and RUNNING
-> Command successful.
