Server restarted automatically aleatory
We have a Gauntlet Firewall 5.0 installed over this plattform :
HP 9000 Server r class model a5176a
512 Mb. Ram
9 Gb. Hd Seagate ST 39173n
Nic's J351C A, J3516 A and J3515 A
HP UX 10.20
Last patches cluster.HPUX level 4
kernel.HP_UX level 1
smap.patch level 1
We working fine but the Firewall-Server was restart automatically, this problem
appears aleatory , the system don't report any malfunction. Do you have any
idea.

Re: Server restarted automatically aleatory
Since the machine is rebooting aleatory, we have to isolate whether the
problem strictly only related to the installation of Gauntlet Firewall 5.0 or
is it a hardware problem. Try to eliminate the options. Can anything be made
out of the log files or HPMC error codes. try using offline/online diagnoctics
to understand the situation more carefully.
If HPMC error codes does not point to any hardware failure then we have to
the installtion side. but always make sure that hardware is fully okay fist
