Hi,
I cant seem to find the answer anywhere, but what is the minimum ammount of power supplies that can be used in a C3000 enclosure when the enclosure has all 8 bays filled?
Thanks
Tim

SolutionHi Tim,
The HP BladeSystem c3000 Enclosure ships with two power supplies. However, up to six power supplies can be installed, depending on the AC redundancy level required and the number of devices installed in the enclosure. BladeSystem c3000 single-phase power supplies automatically switch between low-line (120 VAC) and high-line (240 VAC) to support both environments. A pooled power backplane delivers power to the enclosure. This ensures that the full capacity of the power supplies is available to all server blades.
For more informaion refer the "Power Specifications" on C3000 enclosure QuickSpec document:

Refer c-Class BladeSystem BladeSystem Power Sizer Available at: http://www.hp.com/go/bladesystem/powercalculator
The HP Power Advisor allows for the mixing of rack, blade, and other products in a single environment available at: http://www.hp.com/go/hppoweradvisor
Also, refer the HP BladeSystem c3000 Enclosures configurtion at HPGT:
