Announcing the new HP BladeSystem Matrix
Just to keep everyone updated. HP announced a new BladeSystem product line today, the HP BladeSystem Matrix, at the HP Tech@Work event in Berlin, Germany. "HP BladeSystem Matrix is the world’s first adaptive infrastructure that is simple to buy. Ideal for simplifying consolidation projects, high-availability protection and rapid deployment to production environments, the BladeSystem Matrix unites the tools, processes and architecture of physical and virtual worlds to speed time to service delivery without chaos -- take costs out today and keep them out tomorrow. " We took 42 SKUs and combined them into a single orderable SKU that you just add blades and storage to get a factory assembled, tested, and then implemented at your site in your environment by the HP Technology Services group. It's intend to take the hassle, time, and frustration out of trying to pull everything together that you may need to get things going quickly and easily. Take a look at the new website to get more info: www.hp.com/go/matrix

Announcing the new HP BladeSystem Matrix
BladeSystem Matrix is the first truly "Self-Service Datacenter" from HP. You can setup services and workflows using the HP Insight Orchestration software that is integrated in Matrix and then users can request services using a services portal. You can also use HP Operatiosn Orchestration software to create more complex workflows that include purchasing and requisition approvals. Have you taken a look at the Matrix website?
