HP SUM error in discovering the Firmware update needed in HP servers

Hi People,

I've been using the latest HP SUM version 6 (web based interface) and also version 5.3.5 which comes with September SPP, however they both consistently displaying the error message in regards to Inventory Error during the discovery process (version 60 and "Error: HP SUM cannot proceed with VMware update, HP CIM providers are missing".

I am unable to discover or scan the firmware update needed for my HP DL 380 G6-G7 rack series and HP Blade BL 490c G7 servers running both various versions of ESX & ESXi 4.1 Update 1 for my prerequisite check before upgrading to ESXi 5.1 Update 1

i believe that those servers has been installed using the HP customized .ISO installer, but I still don't understand why it always failed to be scanned ?

on the newly installed ESXi 5.1 Update 1b hosts using the (VMware-ESXi-5.1.0-Update1-1065491-HP-5.50.26.ISO) the HP SUM scans works great returning the results as expected, but of course this is defeating the purpose of having Hp SUM for firmware upgrade required.

Best regards,
