Rack with 4 C7000 enclosures, can't link enclosures
All, I have a rack with 4 C7000 enclosures. At one time all were linked and showing on main login screen of OA.
Cat 5 cable failed between Enc 2 and 3 and was replaced with known good cat 5 cable. I can only see two enclosures from any OA that I log into. The link between Enc 2 and 3 is still showing as down (no link, no activity).
I have reset the oa in enc 3 and 4, and also refreshed the rack topology. How to establish the link between all 4 C7000's?
Regards,
Louis

Re: Rack with 4 C7000 enclosures, can't link enclosures
Well, for lack of input from Forum members, I connected the uplink (up) from Enc 4 (top) enclosure to the downlink (lower) of Enc 1.
All enclosures now show up on the login splash screen, but are not in order as before (I expected as much).
Still don't know what's up with the two links between Enc 2 and Enc 3. Bad OA sleeve?

Re: Rack with 4 C7000 enclosures, can't link enclosures
Not sure that it would make any difference but if you want you can pull the OA's and the sleeve out of 2 and 3 and reseat it all and see if that sorts it out. It does sound like a problem with one of the sleeves.
