Onboard Administrator CLI access to Brocade switch not working as expected
Richard was have trouble connecting to a Brocade Switch:
*************************************************************
I've got an pretty experienced c7000 user having access issues on a chassis to their Brocade switches:
".....trying to configure Brocade switches via the Serial connection from the OA. We should be able to issue the command “Connect Interconnect 3” from the OA command line interface and this should connect via the internal serial link to the switch. It should result in a command line access to the switch. This is hanging instead (Although we can see console output messages). We have not seen this before...."
Is this something anyone else has seen, any recommendations on how to resolve - OA reset or reseat perhaps is the obvious answer but wondered if there was anything else. At this point I don't know OA version they are on, 2.60 if I was guessing.

Steve had a similar issue and had a solution:

I just had this happen on two different enclosures/4 switches when the customer upgraded the OA to 3.10. An upgrade of Brocade FW VIA GUI fixed the issue for me.

Have you seen this problem? Let us know if you have and how you fixed it.
