VLANs - Cisco Catalyst Blade Switch 3020 for HP

HI,

I'm new to the Cisco Catalyst Blade Switch 3020 for HP. How do you assign 1 port to more than 1 VLAN? On the older GB22c switch I enabled tagging and could assign a port to multiple VLANs. I can'f find the cisco way to do this.

Thanks.

The cisco way to use more than one VLAN per port is called trunking.

There is a chapter in this document that describe it indepth. The chapter is called "Configuring VLAN Trunks" and if you just want the commands search for "Configuring a Trunk Port".

Re: VLANs - Cisco Catalyst Blade Switch 3020 for HP

Thanks for the the last post. So I setup my vlans, and the 2 ports connected to the blades are set to 802.1Q trunk. I have set the "trunks allowed" to the 2 vlans.  Problem is - I can only ping from the port I set the "Native VLAN" to.  I attached a picture. any ideas?

Thanks,
