BL680c G7 RAM read/write/copy less then BL490c G6
Hi!
We changed the server with BL490c G6 in BL680c G7.
BL490c G6 installed RAM: 48 GB, 4cpu.
BL680c G7 installed RAM:256 GB, 2cpu.
After the transition observed marked decrease in performance of our OLTP system.
The question now was left alone, and for me it is very important:
1. When testing the RAM servers noticed an interesting difference in terms of read/write/latency
Bring values:
BL490c G6
Read 12081 MB/s
Write 7341 MB/s
Copy 10124 MB/s
Latency 73.2 ns
BL680c G7
Read 5639 MB/s
Write 3488 MB/s
Copy 4755 MB/s
Latency 23,8 ns
What was the reason of such a big difference, in almost 50%?
Thank you.

Re: BL680c G7 RAM read/write/copy less then BL490c G6
mixed up in some places the server in the first post, cpu writhe incorrect. right:
BL490c G6 installed RAM: 48 GB, 2сpu.
BL680c G7 installed RAM:256 GB, 4cpu.
Local. memory is installed correctly, no errors.
