Downgrading BIOS BL460c Gen8

I have a BL460c  Gen8 that comes under the following problem (BIOS 12/20/2013)

"Advisory: HP ProLiant Gen8 Servers - Servers Using the 11/14/2013 or 12/20/2013 System ROM May Fail to Boot Certain Operating System Images That Are Installed with a Non-Active Partition, Resulting in a Non-System Disk Error"

I have downloaded SP65129.exe and created a bootable USB stick. I have the USB plugged into a KVM cable in the front of the blade and changed IPL (F9) to boot off the USB. When rebooting the system is unable to boot off the USB and goes to the second on the list, which is the hard drive. Clearly something is missing on the USB that it needs to boot. Does anyone have any idea. Attached are a list of files on the USB stick.

Re: Downgrading BIOS BL460c Gen8

Maybe you hit the issue again while booting from USB (see advisory)?

Did you try the "resolution"?

You should check if USB is enabled in BIOS and try to activate the redundant BIOS (from RBSU), this will activate the previous installed BIOS.

Hope this helps!
