Errors applying licenses to iLO4 on BL460cGen8 servers

I have a customer who has a brand new c7000 enclosure with 16 BL460c Gen8 servers. He is using SIM to monitor all his equipment. He tries to apply a iLO Advanced License for BladeSystem to his servers and gets the following error “Management Processor Type not Supported”.  He gets this same error on all 16 servers in this enclosure, only Gen8 servers that they have.

iLO advanced licenses can be applied only on iLO IPs not on the Servers IP. Please let me know if you still face any problem in applying licenses to iLOs,. We can discuss offline to root cause the problem.

Regarding Gen8 servers, If you are managing these servers through SIM/Matrix, You need to have Insight Control and Insight Dynamics licenses. To manage iLO 4 you need iLO advance licenses.
