Firmware Upgrade | G7 Servers
Hello,
Need info on upgrade versions available for following infrastructure -
Host - ProLiant BL685c G7
ESX Version installed on them. Esxi 5.0.0 191865
Current OA FW Version 3.32 Aug 24 201
Current VC FW Version 3.18
Please verify if my understanding is correct -
VC version available for G7 servers is max 4.45 ?
OA version available for G7 servers is max 4.50 ?
What is the process to upgrade everything ? Sequence of upgrade ?

Re: Firmware Upgrade | G7 Servers
All depends on the VC ethernet and FC modules you are using.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: Firmware Upgrade | G7 Servers
Get SPP2016.04, run it on a local PC and discover the blade enclosure.
Update OA, VC, and the blade firmware and drivers.
Deselect the network firmware, because I remember there are no network drivers for this old ESX version.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
