New SPP 2013.02.0 on BL460c G7 - Smart Array driver (hpcisss2.sys) causes BSOD

I'm currently testing the latest SPP (2013.02.0) in our environment.

So far I have it running on Bl460c G6 and BL460c Gen8 without any issues, but BL460c G7 and the latest Smart Array driver (6.26.0.64) does not appear to be compatible. When the driver is installed, the server bluescreens after reboot, while loading hpcisss2.sys.

I've also noticed that HP has completely removed the "Driver - Storage Controller" category from BL460c G7 for Windows Server 2008 R2, so if I wanted to downgrade to the previous version, I would have to find the driver via the G6 download page, or via another OS download page (it's still listed for Windows Server 2012). I smell something fishy, HP. What's going on?

Does anyone have Smart Array driver version 6.26.0.64 running on Windows Server 2008 R2 on BL460c G7 hardware?

Has anybody heard if there will be an updated SPP to 2013.02 to also include the latest CNA version 4.2.401.605 due to the critical flawas with 4.2.401.6?  Or is there a way to injec the latest CNA firmware into the SPP?

Great question, last week I looked at trying to inject the .605 firmware and didn't have any luck.  I tried the online repository, too and didn't have luck with that either.

At first I thought maybe they'd re-release the SPP, but now I think it's probably a lot of work to test/validate/release so they probably won't.

The Linux driver is out, I downloaded the scexe file and injected it into the ISO (\hp\swpackages directory). I removed cp01799 and cp018060; that looks to be the .6 firmware.
