confustion about connecting
Confusion how to connect
I have pass thru modules
I want to know about the connectivity of them as i am new to HP hardware.
Interconnect Bay-1 HP 1Gb Ethernet Pass-Thru Module for c-Class BladeSystem
Interconnect Bay-2 HP 1Gb Ethernet Pass-Thru Module for c-Class BladeSystem
Interconnect Bay-3 HP 4Gb Fibre Channel Pass-thru Module for c-Class BladeSystem
Interconnect Bay-4 HP 4Gb Fibre Channel Pass-thru Module for c-Class BladeSystem
Example 1 :
If my two Blade servers(Half Height) are connected on Enclosure Bay 6 and Bay 14.
So Should i connect network cables to Interconnect Bay-1 port 6 and Bay-2 Port 14 for Bay 7 server to network switch-1 .
Interconnect Bay-1 port 14 and Bay-2-Port 6 for Bay-14 server to network switch-2.(both my network switches are redundant)
For Fiber channel.
I can connect interconnect Bay-3 Port 6 and Bay-4 port6 for Bay 7 server to San switch-1
interconnect Bay-4 Port 14 and Bay-4 port14 for Bay 14 server to San switch-2
Experts guide me

Re: confustion about connecting
Pass-through modules have a 1:1 relationship with each server bay, so what you have listed sounds correct. You will also need to have a fibre channel mezzanine card in each server to use the fibre module in bays 3 and 4
