Firmware Release Sets & Qlogic/Emulex/Brocade HBA's
Greg was looking for better clarification of Host Bus Adapters (HBAs) firmware versions:
************************
I am constantly preaching to customers about using the BladeSystem Smart Update Firmware DVD ISO. The main web page answers many customer questions:
http://www.hp.com/go/bladesystemupdates
But, I have never paid much attention to the Qlogic, Emulex, or Brocade HBA firmware in the list. It was just pointed out to me that they are confusing. Does anyone have a better matrix of HBAs to firmware release sets?

Re: Firmware Release Sets & Qlogic/Emulex/Brocade HBA's
I have been using the 9.20B DVD in offline mode - reboot to the DVD, use the automated updated. I assumed that all firmware associated with my BL460 G6's would be updated. However, HBAs (Emulux 4GB mezz) were not touched at all. HP support says these are not longer done in offline mode, but cannot find any documentation to back this up. Do you have any more information?
