How to do a Virtual Connect (VC) 1/10 module upgrade to VC Flex-10

Experts, I currently have a customer who is upgrading their infrastructure and will be using the new VC Flex-10 in their VC environment. Currently they are running v3.60 firmware. Can this upgrade be done online ??? . Is it as easy as swapping out the old 1/10 card and installing the new Flex 10 creating a new domain and restoring the config and upgrading to the latest VC firmware or is an outage required and recreate from scratch ?

Any guidance would be appreciated.
