Does anyone know what the performance hit is of leaving statistics enabled?
The domain is at firmware level 3.51. I am currently capturing a baseline, but I want to have the ability to pull statistics in the case of a problem and do a daily pull. I don't have the rights to pull statistics from the Brocade or Cisco switches.

Re: Leaving statistics_throughput Enabled
Hi Psychonaut,
We have not heard any negative impact by turning on the stats. I don't have any quatative number but so far this feature has not caused any trouble at all.
upcoming VC3.70 will allow you see stats in GUI chart format

Solutionfrom dev testing, this command doesn't have more than 1% impact even with 1 min sample interval to overall system resources so it's save to enable. in VC3.70, a newly creately domain will have the setting as default on with 5-min sample rate. for vc domain upgrade from previous release, the setting is disabled by default but you can enable it manually.
