OA & VC firmware upgrade C7000 5 Enclosure with min 14 blades in each enclosure- Suggestion need
Hello,
I need help in 5 Enclosure (C7000) OA & VC enclsoure firmware upgrade in two days. Could you please suggest is this possible to make automated..?
STEPS which I am planning
1> Upgrading PSP 8.70
2>Upgrading all drivers & FIRMWARES (ILO, NETWORK, BIOS) & running firmware DVD (Online using firmware DVD 9.30)
3>upgrade OA Firmware 3.60
4>Shutdown all server
5>Upgrade VC firmware to 3.60
Doing this upgrade on weekend Saturday and Sunday on all 5 (C7000) enclosure we are planning to utilize 5 persons manpower with 48 hrs..
Need Help from you...
a) Is there any way to make 1 or 2 person to do this upgrade on all 5 enclosure ?
b) Is there any automated tool can be used to deploy all drivers and firmware with minumu amount of time..? total servers is 16 server x 5 Enclosure = 80 Servers
c) Any precaution needs to take care before and after OA & VC firmware upgrade..?
NOTE :- 1>Enclosure details C7000 and all blade servers are running with G1, G6, G7
2> All servers are running with windows servers (2003 X86, X64, 2008-X86 2008-x64)
Can you please suggest.

Do you really want to update to these OLD versions???
current versions:
SPP 2013.02
OA 3.71
VC either 3.75 or 4.01

Sorry for the delay,
Yes as suggested by my team, they planned to go for 3.60 because we have tested it and works well. but not sure about the latest version any issues ? or do we get any issue in upgrading latest version..?
And related to SPP , 2003 server doesn't support, as they have not listed this O.S version SPP document.
