BL860c
We download the Red Hat ES Ver4 rel5 and also the latest smart CD
Smart CD is working fine and when the system tried to boot from Linux there was no response
The problem looks to be with the console communication.
we tried from the remote serial console and the system boots with both RH Linux versions
4,5 and the ES 5.0
Thanks

Re: BL860c
I'll get the silly question out of the way - the RHES 4.5 you downloaded, it is the _ia64_ version right?
When you say "the console communication" and then later "the remote serial console" in the first case to what are you referring? Using the dongle?
