I have c7000 enclosure with two Brocade 4/12 SAN-switches and two bl480 g6 servers with LPe1105 installed in each server. OA tells me that these HBAs are connected to ports 13 and 5 on the SAN-switches. Now, i tried to make a zoning on this switches but there's a strange issue: switchshow doesn't show me a wwns of these HBAs and indicated "No_Sync" on ports. Here's the output:
==================
blade_a:admin> switchshow

switchId: fffc02

zoning: ON (Production)
switchBeacon: OFF

As i can see, that's not licenses issue as there's only 9 active ports on this switch, and OA doesn't show me any problem according switches or servers. Any ideas?

Re: Problems with FC-HBA on BL480 G6
Typicaly, if there is no driver installed for the HBA, it will not log in to the fabric.
You can check to make sure it "works" by rebooting the server, enabling the HBA bios and scanning for devices. This would effective allow the hba to log in to the fabric.
(or just load a driver)
