redhat cluster - BL460C gen8 - ILO4 - fencing agent
We have setup a cluster of BL46C Gen8 running Redhat Cluster software
We look for a fencing agent compatible with:
- redhat 6.2
- ILO4
- SSH compatible
We tried unsuccessfully:
fence_ilo (SSH missing)
fence_ilo_mp (SSH present but not compatible with ILO4)
fence_ipmilan (SSH missing)
I have seen fence_hpblade but it seems designed for redhat 6.4 and upper...
Does someone has already setup such environment
In advance, thanls a lot for your help

Re: redhat cluster - BL460C gen8 - ILO4 - fencing agent
Here is a list of what iLO versions the various fencing agents work with
fence_ilo = iLO 1 &2
fence_ilo_mp = iLO on Itanium systems
fence_ipmilan = iLO 3 & 4
fence_ipmi lan does require the privlvl="operator" option
<fencedevice agent="fence_ipmilan" ipaddr="ilo-IP" lanplus="1" login="fenceuser" name="server-ilo" passwd="************" power_wait="4" privlvl="operator"/>

Re: redhat cluster - BL460C gen8 - ILO4 - fencing agent
Hello,
Thanks a lot for your quick answer and usefull feedbacks about ilo compatibility; unfortunatly the SSH login option is missing in fence_ipmilan ....
So It doesn't fully answer the issue.

Why do you need ssh?
