change hostname & secondary network ip address
Dear All,
I need to rename my cmu server, and change the ip address of my secondary network, the latter i do not think should be an issue, as i am not changing my administration network ip address.
Can you please let me know what needs changing besides the /etc/sysconfig/network and the entry in the /etc/hosts file?
Many thanks in advanced for any replies.
Br
Patric

Re: change hostname & secondary network ip address
Hi Patric,
You need not to change anything else.
As you are not changing administrator IP address, there won't be any effect on CMU.

Re: change hostname & secondary network ip address
In addition to above, you need to update new cmu sever name in "/etc/hosts" file on all compute nodes
