OV for vCOPS

If I only installed OV for vCenter plugins, can OV for vCOPS works? Or it must have OV appliance installed in order to pull the information and functions properly?

You don't need to have HPE OneView installed.  However, you need to have either HPE Insight Control or OneView licenses, as the plugins are not freeware; they are entitled withthe appropriate licenses.  There are no licenses to install or enforce within the plugin.

You need to have HPE SIM, Insight Control/Software or OneView installed in order to pull all possible metrics.

Oneview license is there.
