Error while configuring SSL

Hello All

I am configuring SSL for HP Service manager 9.32 . I am encountering an error when I do the below step.

Run the following command:
keytool -import -keystore ./cacerts -trustcacerts -file mycacert.pem -
storepass changeit
When prompted, type: y to trust the root CA’s certificate.
The root CA certificate is added to the Java cacerts file.

The error is given below

keytool error: java.io.FileNotFoundException: mycacert.pem (The system cannot find the file specified)

Any help will be appreciated

You need to change the command to point to path of mycacert.pem:

keytool -import -keystore ./cacerts -trustcacerts -file mycacert.pem -storepass changeit

Re: Error while configuring SSL

Hi

By chance

Do you have write access to the directory where keytool attempts to create the file? Or maybe the file exists already, and your permissions are not sufficient to overwrite it?

This is not a path but only a filename.  It it would only be valid if you were in that directory.

Hard to believe since it is blowing up trying to find mycacert.pem, not ./cacerts.
