I make the backup for Virtual Machines in HyperV with pass throught disk using sssu scripting. I will like if some one know the correct syntax or use for PREPARE VDISK. The document say that " Prepares the specified empty container for snap creation..." But I unknown the correct syntax and what exactly do.
Thanks.

SolutionThe syntax is as follows:
SET VDISK <container name> PREPARE VDISK=<vdisk name> SNAPSHOT
or
SET VDISK <container name> PREPARE VDISK=<vdisk name> SNAPCLONE
or
SET VDISK <container name> PREPARE VDISK=<vdisk name> MIRRORCLONE
If in case you want to do prepare for multiple snapsat the same time the the command is as follows:
SET MULTISNAP PREPARE VDISK=<vdisk name> CONTAINER=<container name> SNAPSHOT/SNAPCLONE VDISK=<vdisk name> CONTAINER=<container name> SNAPSHOT/SNAPCLONE.......
Use "?" character to get help at any level.
Cheers
