Hello everybody,
the CMC Update seems to need direct access with ftp to the hp servers.
Is there any possibility, how to use a proxy for this ftp connection?
Best regards, Stefan

SolutionThe following is not a supported function. It does work for some people though
Please backup the file before changing it.
- Edit C:\Program Files\HP\P4000\UI\jre\lib\net.properties
- Change value of “ java.net.useSystemProxies” to true
- Uncomment following and update it with proxy server information
- http.proxyHost=
- http.proxyPort=80
- http.nonProxyHosts=localhost|127.0.0.1
Let me know if this works and if so please mark it as solved.

Re: HP LeftHand P4000 CMC Update without Proxy
Hi,
thanks for this helpful information.
Is there a possibility to set proxy with authentication?
I tried username:password@proxy.domain.net but it wont work.
