We have a 2 storage cluster with 2 vsa and one fom. Unfortunately I a manager from vsa is not running and the fom is on the iSCSI volume. I forgot to copy him back out of iSCSI Volume.
Ican do nothing because always i get the message "please establish quorum first"
What can I do?
P.S. This thread has been moved from Storage>General to HP StoreVirtual Storage / LeftHand. -HP Forum Moderator

SolutionThe solution is login with Administrator account on the running manager (vsa, fom) via cliq. Then start command on cliq> recoverquorum.
Now all manager with no function will be removed from the group.
After that, the group is accessible for actions like insert new fom or react vsa.
No data will be lost.

Re: Quorum lost and set to 1 - 2 storage - RAID10 - 2x vsa 1x fom - current only 1vsa as manager
Have you tried starting the manager on both vsa?
When you have 2 managers running you may be able to fix the fom.
