Will Failover Manager Service affect our P4500 SAN firmware upgrade?

I am using an HP Lefthand P4500 SAN. it is currently on firmware version 9 and needs to be upgraded to v11.5.

The san currently has two nodes operating within a cluster. We would like to confirm the following:

The failover manger service on the SAN appears to be enabled, would this cause a problem and should it be enabled when the san is operating with both nodes correctly?

your question is unclear if you have a fail over manager FOM it will be upgraded too with your cluster

if you don't you should have one. or at least a virtual manager running on one of the nodes.
