presenting volume to multiple servers
Hi,
I have a500Gb volume presented to Server 2003 and want to move it to Server 2008
Can I just add it to the 2008 server while it's connected to the 2003 server?
so that both can see it for a while, then remove it from the 2003 server

Re: presenting volume to multiple servers
hi Bob
Recommended way is to first unassign from the first server before presenting it to other ( 2008 )Server. A volume must only be assigned to multiple servers when servers are part of a MS cluster.
So I would recommend you a get a small downtime window for it.
Regards
Ravi
