IMC VLAN naming

Hi,

I have IMC 7 and I am giving VLAN management a shot.

So far I like the way to consolidate vlan on all devices for view and configuration.

BUT

when trying to create or modifying a vlan name, it seems that I cannot include "-" or "_" or " " eventhough my current vlans use "-".

When doing so IMC tells me "A VLAN name is a string of up to 32 characters at most, allows only letters, numbers, and spaces." yet doesn't allow me to use spaces or dashes or underscores.

Did I miss some naming configuration? How can I make IMC allow me to name my vlan "xx-name"?

Check the release notes for the latest version (7.1 D0301). It includes this new feature:

• Allows using hyphens (-) and underscores (_) in VLAN descriptions.

So if you upgrade, it should work.
