Problem with iMC PLAT 5.2 (E0401)

I have been taking backups of various models of HP switches with iMC configuration backup feature without a problem. But now I have a problem with hp 2530-48g series of switches. I get error message "Failed to telnet the device" I have configured telnet settings "Username + Password" and Username is manager. If I manually telnet to switch it works but not with backup feature.

The "Failed to telnet" message can be a bit of a generic error.

From a very quick look, I don't the sysOID for 2530 switches in conf\adapters\ICC\Hewlett Packard\adapter-index.xml. This means it might not be officially supported, but we can still get it working if that is the case.

Can you do these things:
* Logon to the IMC server itself (RDP/SSH), and telnet from there to the switch, just to make sure all is well.
* Find the sysOID of one of those switches - should be on the Device Details page. Post it here.
* What login type are you using (Telnet/SSH), and what file transfer mode? (TFTP/SFTP/FTP/SCP).
* Do you have SNMP read-write enabled on the switch, and/or configured in IMC? (nb you don't have to use read-write)

Try and run a backup of one of those switches, then get the latest entries from <IMC>\conf\log\imccfgbakdm*.log, and post it here (you may need to sanitise it first).

snmp is both read/write enabled on switch

I have been using telnet to backup configuration.
