HP Discover Special Interest Groups (SIGs): Help shape the future

With HP Discover right around the corner, the time has come to begin planning your days. We suggest you kick the conference off right by attending one of our Special Interest Group (SIG) meetings at the Palau de Congressos de Catalunya. Our SIG meetings will take place Tuesday, December 10 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. before HP Discover officially kicks off that afternoon!

1. Design Partner for a Day – Contributing to the HP Service Anywhere Vision 

An open conversation and exploration of the roadmap of HP’s ITSM SaaS offering, HP Service Anywhere. This session includes ITSM requirements, SaaS user experience, usage metric collection and more! Join the Products and R&D teams to check out the new designs and requirements, and provide feedback for future release consideration. 

Criteria: Currently a user or administrator of one of the following applications: HP Service Desk, HP Service Center, HP Service Manager, HP Service Anywhere, or currently using or administering a software solution delivered as a service, HP or otherwise.


2. Configuration Management Systems 

In this open, interactive, and collaborative session, we'll explore various topics related to your experience with the HP Configuration Management System (CMS) product line. We will review the latest product features to understand how they may be relevant to your environment; we'll present a complete product roadmap and you'll have an opportunity to discuss strategy, operational challenges, and industry trends with the Product Management team and members of R&D. Criteria: Attendees must have technical familiarity with specific HP CMS technologies such as HP Universal CMDB, HP UCMDB Configuration Manager and HP Universal Discovery (or previous generation products DDMA and DDMI).


3. Autonomy IDOL

This special interest group provides customers with a forum to discuss and learn from industry peers what market trends and challenges are driving their strategies for the management of unstructured Big Data, including email, audio, video, and social media, which encompasses 90% of the data in an enterprise today. This forum provides a unique opportunity to influence the strategy and direction of HP Autonomy's IDOL platform by meeting directly with experts from our product management team.

Criteria: Attendees must have experience in information management and/or analytics. Roles likely to attend are IT managers, business intelligence managers, data scientists, and data architects. Roles likely to attend are technical management roles, director level roles, data/process owner roles and other contributing roles with a direct dependency on these technologies.


4. HP Operations Orchestration

This special interest group forum provides customers with a willingness to automate their IT environment an opportunity to share, discuss and learn from their peers what market trends and increased internal pressures are driving their automation and cloud strategies. This forum also provides a unique opportunity to influence the direction and strategy of HP Operations Orchestration by meeting directly with our product management, and research and development key team members.

Criteria: Attendees must have experience with automation and orchestration in the context of IT Process Automation (Cloud Orchestration, DevOps, SecOps etc.) or Run Book Automation using HP Operations Orchestration. Roles likely to attend are enterprise architects, automation engineers, automation architects, tools or systems engineering.


5. Customer Support Journey to Excellence 

HP Software Support is getting ready to meet with our Strategic Customers to influence the dynamics of our shared future. In order to provide the best topics to generate discussion on what is needed from Support; we will step through the Evolution of our Portfolio, to explain where each can be the right tool for the job you have in mind. We also share customer insights- from the customer point of view, around areas of the best practices of getting the most out of their HP Support.

Criteria: All customers are welcome to register.
