And that’s a wrap! Pink Elephant 2013 was a huge success, and we were thrilled to be a part of it!

Remaining true to its Las Vegas location, the interactive conference was infused with perpetual entertainment that drew as many laughs as it did tears and ultimately, left participants ready to head back to their respective teams moved and motivated. From exhibitions to awards shows to an appropriately selected Pink Floyd cover band, Pink Elephant 2013 was the ideal platform for an open discussion of IT information, innovation and inspiration.

The three-day event kicked off with the powerful video below, that detailed the current and potential future states of the technology industry. It was followed by riveting keynote speeches, bringing a captive audience to its feet for a standing ovation after powerful words from Captain Chesley B. Sullenberger and Neil deGrasse

A common thread throughout the conference was that customer voices must be represented and involved in IT, inviting IT players to “walk the path of their customers.” Mark Kawasaki, ITSM authority, aka @WindUpBird described Pink Elephant 2013 as "the most community-focused, people-based and value-emphasizing ITSM conference yet."

Many thanks to everyone who stopped by our booth! We particularly enjoyed seeing familiar current HP Service Manager customers and meeting customers interested in both on-premise Service Manager and SaaS-based HP Service Anywhere. We were excited to witness the enthusiasm surrounding our latest release of the Service Request Catalog. Several curious customers inquired about the web-based training, and we are pleased to provide the HP Adoption Readiness Tool that contains pre-configured content for all HP software solutions. We’d also like to congratulate our many Amazon gift card winners—our prize patrol was proud to see all the HP buttons!

For those of you who were unable to attend, the good news is that session power points are now available on the conference site and recordings are to follow soon! You can also check out this video for an exclusive interview with Pink Elephant’s Senior Consultant Jack Probst.
