SmartStart UNATTEND.TXT Win2003

Hi!

I'm unsatisfied with the unattend.txt file SmartStart creates und did my own. My idea was to exchange the file after SmartStart reboots, which works perfectly.

Now, the problem is, how to get it easily on drive C:\?

I swapped the disks with another G4 model which already has Win2003 running, but this is not a good solution. I also tried to us KNOPPIX, but it doesn't find the right drivers for HP RAID controllers.

Is there another easy way to access drive C:\?

Thank you and regards,

Re: SmartStart UNATTEND.TXT Win2003

Save unattend.txt as A:\winnt.sif. Windows looks for this file as it starts setup. If you watch the status line, you will see a message pass by "Machine Identification" prior to seeing the F6 prompt for additional driver installation.
