ILO2 & CSR

Hello ,

Ilo2 with lastest firmware can generate 2048bits keys for SSL certificate .

I have now a problem .

The signature in the CSR is md5WithRSAEncryption .

My pki refuse to sign this kind of csr because of weakness of md5 .

Can we generate the CSR  with sha1 algorithm ?

with RIBCL ?

Re: ILO2 & CSR

There is a RIBCL tag called "CERT_SIGNATURE_ALGORITHM" to enable the SHA1 algorithm but, up to iLO2 version 2.09, this setting only works on the Self-Signed Certificate.

In the next iLO2 firmware released, this same SHA1 setting will work on CSR as well.
