I want to edit one of the alerts that I have setup to email, but I cannot find the specifin MIB to edit, is there a listing somewhere... the alert is the "Discoverd Device" alert, which is alerting my when a server goes down... I would like to change that title and some information within. Any idea which MIB I need to edit?
Thanks in advnace.

Solution
That alert can not be edited.
However, it probably isn't one you should have sent in the email anyway.
First, ensure that your status polling task has the checkbox indicating that it should create an event on status change.
Second, create an event query that returns the event Device Status Change (at least - the Important Uncleared Events query already has this plus all the other critical+major events).
Third - change your email task to point to this query instead of the device query you currently have it setup against.
Pointing an email task at a device query is something we were forced to do with earlier versions, but with IM7 that isn't necessary anymore.
The Device Status Change email is much better than the Discovered Device event.

Dude, we've been totally misled by our album covers!
