Account Lockout in SIM

Hello All

I keep getting my SIM System account locked out. I have reset the password both in AD and I thought SIM. Is there another login password I need to change. Is there more than one place?

How did you reset it in SIM? It's not as simple as changing the password for the service in the services.msc (for windows). The installation guide documents how to change it from the command line.

Hi,

we had this problem because of using the HP SIM Service Account under some system credentials!

You can check this by selecting all systems --> Options --> Security --> Credentials --> System Credentials.

If there is at some system your service account listed, try to reset the password (or better: don't use SIM service account for system discovery / logins!).

Is there any good material to learn SIM? I am having a real hard time getting my way around it.
