Cannot connect to target system using WBEM
I get following error message, when I try to connect to server:
Cannot connect to target system using WBEM.
Cause: Some possible causes: 1) The user/password has been
changed in the CIMOM, and the new values are not among
those entered into HP Systems Insight Manager (HP SIM); 2)
The CIMOM has been configured to require a client
certificate that matches one in its trust store, and it is
no longer there.
Resolution: WBEM credentials may be incorrect: 1) Enter
the new credentials either for the specific device, or
into the general list, in HP SIM; 2) Import the HP SIM
certificate into the trust store of the CIMOM, using the
appropriate tool provided by that CIMOM.
What do I have to do?

Re: Cannot connect to target system using WBEM
After pushing the certificate you can open WBEM Properties.
Note: HP WBEM Providers must be installed on the target machine!
Hope it will help.

Re: Cannot connect to target system using WBEM
What's the point in having to assign system credentials when global credentials have already been defined?
I am having the same problems as hansis1 - a domain admin account has been defined in global credentials, however no systems have WBEM listed as a valid protocol.

Re: Cannot connect to target system using WBEM
I use server specific wbem credentials for our ESXi servers.
It took quite a bit of work to get our new ESXi servers identified and wbem health / properties working via wbem.
You may be better opening a new thread and listing what is happening and on what versions of HP SIM, OS etc.

Re: Cannot connect to target system using WBEM
I'm having a similar issue in that I've got all my p4500 G2 nodes discovered and monitored by HP SIM. However, Insight Remote Support Advanced Monitoring is giving off some errors about WBEM credentials being incorrect. Are these the same credentials that iLO and the Management Group they belong to use?
