Most of the hardware errors would be critical or major, but the example I gave will email you on all events with crittical or major serverity for "all servers"

 

If you insall Insight Remote Support Advanced with HP SIM in will flag events that are recived by HP SIM as hardware problems aka "Service Events" and email you.

Have to have an HP warranty\contact on server for it to work.

Paul, that sounds cool.

 

Can we just send the email to us internally rather than calling HP for creating the case since we are not supported with HP anymore ?

So what happened when some of the servers is out of warranty (determined from the serial number AUB.... an SGH....) ?

The software will check entitilement and if there is not a vaild warranty\contract the "service event" will not be generated, but HP SIM will still revieve the hardware event, but the filtering to HP will not work.
