HP SIM 7.4.0 - not detecting P400 RAID cards on DL360/380 G5

We've got HP SIM 7.4.0 in our environment. It alerts us for most hardware, but for a couple of remote servers it doesn't report back to the P400 RAID card status. This has caught us out a couple of times now and despite a round of updates to these machines I can't get the P400 to show in SMH and because of this it's not reporting back to HP SIM.

Affected servers are DL360 / 380 G5 servers w/ WS2012.

On HP update I can't get to install is HP ProLiant Smart Array SAS/SATA Event Notification Service for Windows Server 2008 x64 Editions and Windows Server 2012 (cp027261)

It has failed depenancies looking for HP ProLiant Smart Array SAS/SATA Controller Driver.
When I attempt to install this it fails due to OS not being supported.

What can I do to get these P400 controllers to report in?

The problem is that you try to run 2012 drivers/agent on an older hardware platform.

You could try to use the SNMP agent for you hardware monitoring.

Kind regards,
