Hi,
We had a couple of HP ProLiant DL380 G6-servers running CentOS 6.4 going down during the weekend due to overheating. After fixing the heating situation and getting the systems back online we are still getting errors from the surveillance system (Nagios) polling SNMP. In the system management homepage all sensors are listed as OK, and the same in the iLO-GUI.
However, when I poll the SNMP service I get the following:
SNMP OK - 3 | CPQHLTH-MIB::cpqHeMibCondition.0=3
SNMP OK - 3 | CPQHLTH-MIB::cpqHePostMsgCondition.0=3
What I have done to clear the errors:
1. Marked all items in IML as repaired - no change
2. Cleared the IML - no change
3. Cleared the iLO-logs - no change
4. Reset the iLO - no change
I found this old thread, but none of the solutions there helped either: http://h30499.www3.hp.com/t5/ITRC-HP-Systems-Insight-Manager/After-ASR-server-still-reports-quot-Degraded-quot-even-after-IML/td-p/4632029#.UcgFc5z9rPQ
In ASR, the Clear box isn't visible and the reset count is 0.
OS: CentOS 6.4 - 2.6.32-358.6.1.el6.x86_64
SMH ver: 7.1.1.1
iLO 2 ver: 2.09 (04/11/12)
ASR HW ver: 1.0
Does anyone have any idea on how I can reset the PostMsgCondition, so that the systems are listed as OK again?
P.S. This thread has been moved from ITRC Server Mgmt (Insight Manager 7) Forum to ITRC HP Systems Insight Manager Forum - HP Forum Moderator
