SSH Disabled but still used in Discovery

Hi guys,

In global protocol settings in SIM 7.2 I have SSH disabled. However, when I run discovery against an iLO that doesn't have SSH enabled it returns 'Completed with Minor errors' and the details are:

• "Minor:    The system cannot be logged in using SSH protocol; check credentials or check the settings in the SSH configuration file "

My credentials are fine as If I enable SSH on the iLO discovery completes fine. My question is, why is it using SSH in the discovery at all since I have it disabled globally?

Hello Shocko,

If you check your log it also said it skips ssh because it is globaly disabled. So the config is correct. When you disable ssh it would be nice not to log the ssh skip as an error. But then again, it works, it is only confusing... that is all.

At least it does not try your credentials for ssh logon attempts...
