Suspend monitoring for multiple system via command line?
I have a mulitple servers that I dont manage but need to remain in SIM. I dont have access to this systems and SIM tries to logon as root for data collection (?).
1. Is there a way to disable SIM from trying to logon to these servers while keeping them in SIM?
2. I assume if I choose to suspend monitoring, SIM will no longer attempt to log on - is that the case?
3. How can I suspend via the command line?
Thanks

Re: Suspend monitoring for multiple system via command line?
See: http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c03168515/c03168515.pdf
I'm not sure you can run a command to stop monitoring a specific node but you could try this:
- Create a collection called 'Don't Monitor'
- Setup a task against this collection to suspend monitoring of it's members indefinitely
- Set this tasks to run when new nodes are added to the collection
- Use the command line to add node you don't wish to monitor to the collection
MOnitoring should then be disabled against those node ;)
